I only photograph a small number of weddings each year so that I can give each couple a unique, carefree Wedding Photography Service that is attentive, caring and individual. 

Based around you and the unique wedding experience you will get by getting married in Scotland, the wedding photography you will take away will be a unique compendium of your wedding day influenced by the way I see the world through the lens, shaped by my heart and inspired by you.

My wedding photography service is complete and fully flexible.  I really hate the word "packages" as it sounds too much like "standard", like a trip to the shop to buy some clothes which are massed produced in some factory.  I prefer to think in terms of "services" and "designer fit" which sound a lot more exciting and unique, in perfect affinity with my wedding photography service and with you.

My wedding photography service is designed to getting to know you because that is what it takes to achieve unique wedding photographs; not just a good camera, technical skills or an eye for a good photograph but knowing you, befriending you, building your trust and confidence. 

It helps you relax too, which is all part of the very special wedding photography experience I am so passionate about and to do any different would be similar to treating each wedding the same or cutting corners with the unsatisfactory result of simply providing a standard set of photographs. 

So instead, I want to build a great relationship with you to find out what you like and dislike, what matters to you,  the details of your wedding and the reasons behind your choices to help me understand and feel you, and capture your day in a way that truly reflects you.   You are welcome to come and discuss your plans and requirements whenever you need to and especially any concerns you may have, as they happen so that I can correct them quickly and effectively.

The Engagement Photoshoot is a great time to get to know each other and discuss your wedding photography, including ideas, poses, likes and dislikes. 

The perfect way to start this is to show me cut outs of magazine or photographs which inspire you. 

Informal, fun and relaxed, it will arm you with tips and tricks to look your best in front of the camera and your favourite photograph will be specially framed to allow your guests to leave a personal message on the mount.

After some years travelling the world, I was brought up in the Mediteranean climate of the South of France, near the Provence area, which has left a definite mark on me. 

The warmth of the people, the scorching heat, the fiery colours, the strong smells of thyme, pines and lavender and the blinding light are all reflected in the food, arts and personality of the people. 

This latin and international background, backed up with a Baccalaureate in Arts, influence uniquely the energetic and passionate artistry that flows through my work and the way I see the world around me.

I love "reportage" and "candids" as they are both fairly unobstrusive on your day and yield beautiful, natural photographs. 

From a distance, I can shoot away with a long zoom and capture people as they really are, interracting with each other, while they are totally unaware of my attention. 

Unlike most people, I see capture as the beginning of the process and I do quite a lot of caring work on my photographs after a shoot to help them achieve their best potential and that's even before they reach your album. 

My albums are very special and personal, composed with loving care, entirely bespoke and designed specifically for you to reflect your style of wedding and your souls.

With Wedding Select, I go a step beyond: using unconventional techniques and effects I bring into play the physical and spiritual details of your wedding, finding inspiration in the historical aura of the location and the cultural colours connected to you, I aim to create an individual and very personal perspective of your wedding day record, adding, with a professional touch, character, significance and vibrance to the reconstruction of the events of your day of days.  It's a refreshingly holistic approach to wedding album design.

I always take my couples away from the crowd for some superb photographic opportunities that would not otherwise be possible.  For most of my couples, it is often the first quiet moment and it is important to me that you be yourself and let your own personality emerge freely.

I love contemporary photography.  It has a very wide emotional appeal and I believe that each photographer develop their own style eventually. 

I like to think of my style as able to fringe the sensuality and feminity of "boudoir" and the chic appeal of fashion while I am able to craft scenes looking so natural that the viewers may feel they have quietly chanced upon an intimate moment.

All printed photographs are colour, contrast and sharpness corrected as well as gently retouched at my discretion and where necessary to ensure the best possible finish.

With many years experience using Adobe Photoshop, a leading professional software in image manipulation, I can create Digital Artwork at your request, such as montage of photographs or specific effects.

All products are manufactured here in Scotland, hand-made to very high quality by a Scottish company very proud of their work.  Most of the products come with a lifetime warranty too and will showcase perfectly all your photographs, to be cherished down through the generations.

I believe that parents' wall prints, parents' albums, signing frames and ultimately the Thank You Notes should really be part of all wedding.
