We meet to discuss your requirements, answer any questions you may have and view samples of my work in prints. You take home an agreement which contains detail of the service to be provided, your payment schedule and the full Terms and Conditions of Business. The consultation process is free, however you may wish to pay a non-refundable reserve of £50.00 at the meeting to book provisionally, for the next 14 days, the date and times of your wedding. I regret that I cannot freeze your date otherwise but this amount will later be deducted from your wedding fee. Return the signed document with the non-refundable booking fee within 14 days and you are fully booked. It's that simple! Prices If you require something different, whether services or products, this will need to be discussed and agreed upon for inclusion within the agreement. This will affect as appropriate the cost of your wedding. Once agreed prices are valid for the duration of the agreement. Prices are not subject to VAT. Additional Expenses I can do weddings anywhere is Scotland, the rest of the UK and further afield, but you are responsible for any applicable travel and accommodation expenses as discussed and agreed prior to entering the agreement. An amount of mileage is inclusive in all the services, however, a charge will be made for distances beyond the allowance:
Products can be collected by the client at the Studio, delivered locally by myself or sent via carrier. Like mileage, products delivery is included in my services in the following manner and outwith these limits, delivery would incur an additional charge:
Payments The agreed wedding fee is payable in three installments. All payments to be made in UK Sterling only and are to be settled before delivery of products or services. Cash, Cheques, credit cards (via Paypal), Paypal and Bank Transfer (BACS) payments are all accepted. Cancellations If you cancel, you loose the booking fee but it will be transferred to a rescheduled wedding, as long as I am available for the new date and times. Should I need to cancel due to a cause beyond my control and where feasible, a suitable replacement would be sought for you or a Wedding Portrait Session with chosen attendees would be organised after the wedding to complete the same level of service and delivery, incorporating a larger amount of your guests' best photographs of the day. The latter is also part of my contingency plan should disaster strike. Contingency Planning Although I hope this will never be necessary, I am fully insured and always take back-up equipment on the day. However, it is advisable that you should take a fully comprehensive insurance to cover your wedding and honeymoon. Product Warranty I have selected my service providers very carefully for the high quality of their products, the great level of service they provide, their reliability and very high standards of work and ethics which match mine. Therefore, I have no hesitation in retaining full responsibility for the quality of these products, some of which come with a lifetime warranty. Copyright and the Use of the Photographs by THE PHOTOGRAPHER I own the Copyright and Artistic Licenses to all my photographs, which are protected by the Copyright Act 1988. When I grant you permission to freely print, copy, digitally manipulate, compose, including in digital books, archive, email or display on your website or social website the photographs provided "Copyright-free", my ownership of the photographs and associated rights are unaffected. I reserve the right to use any photographs I take to promote my work and my career in any ways and lawful purposes. |
